The procedure to import wM-Bus keys in the BMetering Software is as follows:
- After booting up the software, move to the "Readings" page using the button found on the bar at the top of the screen.
- After changing tab, press the "Manage encryption" button to open the key management window
- After the window has opened, you will be able to select the type of encryption between global and individual. Once chosen, press the "Import" button to begin the import of the file containing the keys.
- A window will open. Here, the type of medium measured by the meter (water, heat, ecc.) must be selected. After doing so, the path to the keys file will have to be imputed.
After choosing the file you will have to simply press "Next" to return to the previous window. Here, "Save" MUST be pressed to end the procedure.
WARNING: IT'S ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO PRESS "Save". IF THIS IS NOT DONE THE PROCEDURE WILL HAVE TO BE DONE AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING, AS THE SOFTWARE WON'T BE ABLE TO MEMORIZE THE KEYS
