In certain circumstances, such as a computer failure or replacement, the customer may request the transfer of the license from an existing device to a new one.
To do this without purchasing a new license, it is possible to deactivate the license on the damaged device and activate a new one.
The procedure to do this is as follows:

From the customer, obtain the ID of the license to be deactivated. It can be found at the bottom right in the BMetering Software

Access the KeyGenerator platform with the credentials provided by BMeters at the following link: https://keygenerator.bmetering.com/

Go to point 2 "View activated licenses"

Enter the ID of the license to be deactivated in the "Filters: ID" box and press "Search"
(ID, Activation Date, and Description have been removed)
- Using the "Edit" button it will now be possible to modify the description assigned to the license, while with the "Disable" button it will be possible to disable the license in use
Disabled licenses will be visible in the “Disabled Licenses” section. If you wish to proceed with reactivation, you must contact technical support.
